Verdict On DoNotPay: Worlds first Robot-Lawyer
AI-powered "robot" lawyer won't argue in court after jail threats
Joshua Browder announced on twitter, "On February 22nd at 1.30PM, history will be made. For the first time ever, a robot will represent someone in a US courtroom. DoNotPay A.I will whisper in someone's ear exactly what to say. We will release the results and share more after it happens. Wish us luck!"
Then the bad news:
Joshua Browder, the CEO of DoNotPay tweeted,
"Good morning! Bad news: after receiving threats from State Bar prosecutors, it seems likely they will put me in jail for 6 months if I follow through with bringing a robot lawyer into a physical courtroom. DoNotPay is postponing our court case and sticking to consumer rights:"
Question is, why is DoNotPay such a threat to the courtrooms? After all, DoNotPay is responsible for overturning 190,000 parking tickets. I believe that many are fearful of losing their jobs. Lawyers are fearful of job displacement. We are in uncharted territory. Mr. Browder is right, History is being made in what is being hailed now as The 4th Industrial Revolution. Welcome to a brand new world.
Here is a list of just a few of the many many features offered by DoNotPay:
Airline Flight Compensation Hacks
